Clifford F. Burt eligible for parole hearing

The Prisoner Review Board of the Kansas Department of Corrections schedules monthly public comment sessions concerning inmates who are coming up for parole hearings.
Clifford F. Burt, 42, also known as “LIP,” will be eligible for a parole hearing in September, for possible release in October. He is serving sentences for aggravated arson (substantial risk of bodily harm) and attempted first degree murder, in 2003 in Reno County; attempted arson and attempted first degree murder, 1991 in Geary County; and attempting to influence a judicial officer, 1992 in Ellsworth County. He is at Lansing Correction Facility under medium-high security.
Public hearings for Burt and other inmates with September parole hearings will be held in August, and written comments are also accepted.
Public hearings for inmates with August parole hearings will be held this month. No inmates with convictions from Barton and surrounding counties are scheduled for hearings that month.
