A Chevy Malibu driven by Dana Noble, 43, of Larned slid off West Barton County Road at 12:45 p.m. Thursday, injuring the driver. According to the Barton County Sheriff’s Office, Noble was westbound in the 1200 block when the car hit an icy spot and went 415 feet in the ditch, where it came to rest after striking the embankment of the wash. Great Bend Fire Department ambulance transported her to Great Bend Regional Hospital.
