The Great Bend Chamber of Commerce has released the dates of the 2012 Legislative Coffees.

The public will be able to meet with elected officials on Jan. 28, Feb. 25 and March 24. All coffees are held at the Kansas Oil & Gas Museum at 5944 10th St. and begin at 10 a.m. Doors open at 9:30 a.m., and doughnuts and coffee are provided at no charge. Legislative Coffees are sponsored by AT&T.

Senators Ruth Teichman and Jay Emler, and Representatives Bob Bethell and Bill Wolf have been invited to the meetings, which are intended to give local residents the chance to network with their legislators directly. After hearing a brief update from each legislator present, the audience is given an opportunity to ask questions.
