A Cimarron man was transported to Great Bend Regional Hospital following a one-vehicle accident Wednesday morning in the 600 block of NE 40 Road, about three miles north and three miles east of Great Bend.
Kansas Highway Patrol reports that Samuel J. Selee, 30, was traveling northeast on K-156 at 9:04 a.m. and suffered an unknown medical issue. The vehicle, a 2006 Ford F-150 pickup, left the roadway and traveled for a mile through a stubble field, struck a bridge at NE 40 Road, crossed over the roadway and came to rest on the north side of the road. Selee was wearing a seat belt.
A hospital spokesman said Selee was in fair condition Wednesday afternoon.
