United Way of Central Kansas has partnered with Walnut Bowl, Eagle Communications and the Great Bend High School Marketing Class to organize “Putt Putt Fore a Difference” on Sunday, Sept. 22, from 1-4 p.m. Three person teams are now being recruited to participate in the charity fundraiser.
Entry is $30 per three-person team, and cash prizes will be awarded to the top three teams. Participants can register at www.uwck.org, or sign up on the day of the tournament. The business with the most teams represented will receive a traveling trophy to display until next year. All activities are taking place at the Walnut Bowl & Mini Golf on North Washington in Great Bend. The Walnut Grill will be open, and a horseshoe contest will also be taking place.
