A motorist was injured Friday when the car crossed the center line in Barton County and hit the trailer of an oncoming semi-trailer.
Kansas Highway Patrol reports Eric Lee Fox, 33, of Offerle, was taken to Great Bend Regional Hospital. He was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the accident, which occurred at 6 p.m. on U.S. 56, six miles west of Great Bend.
Lee was westbound in a 2003 Ford passenger car. The eastbound Peterbilt was driven by Brian K. Hoskins, 50, of Robinson. Another westbound car, driven by Kristine Leigh Myers, 24, of Larned, was hit by debris. Hoskins and Myers were wearing seat belts and were not injured.
