Second audition session set for Pirates of Penzance

Barton Community College, in conjunction with the Russell Arts Council, will host a second session for auditions for the upcoming summer musical production of Gilbert & Sullivan’s satirical opera “Pirates of Penzance,” 6 p.m. Monday, May 14 in the Ruppenthal Middle School Auditorium, 400 North Elm St.,  Russell.
Auditions are open to all area high school and college students. Those who audition will need to bring sheet music and have a song prepared.
The performances will be held June 29 and 30 at the Ruppenthal Auditorium and July 1 in Great Bend. The location of the Great Bend show is to be announced at a later date.
