The Great Bend Recreation Commission will introduce its new Stroller Walks wellness program with orientation meetings at 9:30 a.m. and 6 p.m. on Monday, Sept. 23, at the south shelter house in Veterans Memorial Park. Program Coordinator Megan Hammeke said parents with children in strollers or walking can attend either session and receive a free T-shirt. They will also learn about the free stroller walking program. Parents walk with their children while enjoying the benefits of exercise with friends and family on their own schedule.
