A Chevrolet Malibu driven by Anthony Wilson, 18, Leoti, collided with a  Dodge Ram driven by Ryan D. Friedly, 19, of Hoisington, at 3:40 p.m. Monday in Logan County, at the U.S. 83/U.S. 40 junction in Oakley. Kansas Highway Patrol reports Wilson was westbound and Friedly was eastbound on U.S. 40, and Wilson failed to yield and attempted to turn left and was hit by the pickup. The drivers were not injured, but Ashley Jo Myers, 18, of Tribune, a passenger in the pickup with Friedly, was taken to Logan County Hospital will a possible injury. All were wearing seat belts.
