Barbara Stecklein began her art career in 1985, after completing a Bachelor of Fine Art Degree from the University of Texas in San Antonio, Texas. She concentrated on still life compositions using watercolor and graphite. Eventually she added charcoal and pastel.Barbara Stecklein’s florals and landscapes will be exhibited at the Deines Cultural Center through August 17 in a show titled “Floral Works on Paper 1985 – 2011”.
