The Barton Dance Theatre will host “We Love Animals” Creative Virtual Camp for Kids fundraiser from 2-3:30 p.m. on Feb. 14. Tickets are available through bartonccc.booktix.com for $10 for one child and $5 for additional siblings.

Kids aged 4-12 years will learn a dance, have an acting class, join in an interactive storytelling session and do animal science activities. Activities will be age-appropriate and the children will virtually attend in groups defined by their ages, with some parental assistance needed for young children. 

All proceeds raised from the event will help fund the BCC dance students’ expenses for working with professional choreographers and a modern dance company this spring. This exposure to the broader world of dance helps the students network with others in the field and gain more understanding of what it’s like to work as a professional dancer.
