Barton Community College employees collected donations for secondhand clothing, shoes, bedsheets and more to help those in need and are opening a “Community Closet” up to local nonprofit agencies and organizations to come “shop” for free items they can use to help community members. The format of a store was developed so agencies can select the items they need the most for their respective organizations. 

The Community Closet is open from Wednesday, May 27 to Saturday, May 30, and is in the Learning Resource Center - Room 116. To make an appointment or for more information, contact Central Kansas Upward Bound Project Director Patrick Busch at buschp@bartonccc.eduor call 620-282-1481.
