Lt. Col. Christopher Zielke, commander of the Ft. Riley Warrior Transition Battalion, accepts a $1,500 check from Barton Community College President Dr. Carl Heilman on Nov. 1. BCC hosted the Fort Riley Wounded Warrior Scramble on Aug. 20 to raise the funds. The tournament was played at Fort Riley’s Custer Hill Golf Course. All funds raised go toward assisting wounded soldiers at Fort Riley.
