The Learning Resource Center at Barton Community College will give away ice scrapers on Monday Nov. 3. Deedra Gibbons said people can stop by and pick up a free Barton Library ice scraper for as long as supplies last. They are available to students, BCC employees and community members.
“It’s a good opportunity for people to stop by, look at the library and get a freebie,” Gibbons said.
The library, located in the center of the campus, will also host Game Night from 7-9 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 9. Games to play include: Apples to Apples, Cranium, Buzzword, Twister, Monopoly and more. Participants will be entered in a prize drawing to win a free “dorm food” goodie bag. There will be free refreshments. This activity is also open to students, employees and community members.
