The Barton Visual and Performing Arts Department will host its annual Sneak Preview Concert at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 10 in the Fine Arts Auditorium. Admission is free and open to the public.
The event will feature performances by the Hilltop Singers, Concert Choir, Jazz Ensemble and Prairie Winds Concert Band to give the community a peek into what each of the talented groups has in store.
Director of Chorale Activities Sara Oberle said the preparation for the concert is going well.
“With Steve Lueth’s partnership and all the departments, it really helps an event like this come together,” Oberle said.
Oberle also said she was excited about the choir’s selection of music.
“The choir set was inspired by the eclipse,” she said. “The literature I selected thematically have to do with elements of nature or things of a celestial quality.”
