The Barton County Sheriff’s Office posted this news release this morning: The Barton County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a case of suspected arson north of the City of Great Bend. On August 2, 2018 at about 1:53 AM Sheriff’s deputies responded to the 500 block of North US 281 highway. Upon arrival deputies found an abandon mobile home and shed fully engulfed in flames.
