The Barton County Sheriff’s Office issued three search warrants over the course of this past weekend where officers were looking for evidence of a recent alleged kidnapping and drugs, Barton County Sheriff Brian Bellendir said.According to reports, around 9 a.m. on Saturday, Dec. 9, at the Sheriff’s Office along with the Great Bend Police Department executed a search warrant at 36 Kiowa Road, just outside the city limits of Great Bend. Officers were looking for evidence of a recent reported kidnapping. During the course of the investigation a quantity of methamphetamine was located as well as other evidence.
