The Barton County Young Professionals are inviting members of the community to its sixth-annual Casino Night on Saturday, April 29. The event will be held at the Columbus Club, 723 Main in Great Bend, and will include an evening of games, entertainment and a dinner.

The event is open to all community members over the age of 21 and offers a chance to enjoy the thrill of the casino while supporting a great cause, event organizers said. The funds raised from the event will be used to support various community initiatives that aim to promote the growth and development of young professionals in Barton County.

Tickets for the event are $35 each and can be purchased in advance from the Barton County Young Professionals website or at the door on the night of the event. Only 200 tickets will be sold with any remaining tickets sold at the door at an increased price of $40-$45.

In addition, corporate sponsor tables are available for $400 and include eight tickets to the event, as well as special recognition during the evening.

“We are delighted to host our Annual Casino Night and bring the community together for a night of fun and entertainment while supporting our community,” said Katie Hales, president of Barton County Young Professionals. “This year, we’re thrilled to offer dinner to our guests.”

The meal will be served at 7 p.m. sharp followed by a brief program, and then the casino games and entertainment will commence from 8-10 p.m. “We’ll have an array of exciting prizes to be won in the Prize Drawings scheduled at 10:30 p.m.,” she said.

The evening will feature a variety of casino-style games, including blackjack, poker, and roulette, with a range of prizes up for grabs. Guests will also enjoy a cash bar during the social hour at 6 p.m. before the dinner is served.
