Area gun clubs are coming together to host a benefit steel shoot on Sept. 10 to support Great Bend Military Moms.
Sign up for the shoot will be from 9 to 11 p.m. and participates will shoot until 2 p.m. at the Kiowa Gun Club located at 369 SW 50 Ave.
There is a $15 entrance fee that will get you five tickets that can be used at any of the stages and additional ticket can be purchased for $3. Local 4-H shooters will be selling food and drinks. There will be door prizes as well throughout the day.
This event is for ages 12 and up and a .380 and larger weapon is recommend for dropping targets plus 100 rounds of ammunition and hearing protection. This event is open to the public and all shooting levels.
Participates can shoot for time or just for fun.
