Mel and Darnell Holopirek were the Old Bill Honorees at the Barton Community College Foundation’s Big Benefit Auction, Saturday, Aug. 22. The event, “A Ghostly Gala,” had a Halloween theme and spooky auction items included a stay at the hotel that inspired Stephen King’s novel, “The Shining.”
