The Barton County Commission will meet Monday morning and the Great Bend City Council will meet Monday evening.

The Barton County Commission will meet at 9 a.m. Monday at the Barton County Courthouse, 1400 Main in Great Bend. The agenda includes a Kansas Association of Counties annual meeting report, the replacement of a motor grader for the Road and Bridge Department and a departmental update.

The Great Bend City Council will meet at 6:30 p.m. Monday at the City Office, 1209 Williams. The agenda includes a report from Police Chief David Bailey and Fire Chief Luke McCormick, letters of support for Kansas Department of Transportation grant applications for Rosewood Roots and Wings Foundation and the Commission on Aging and the replacement of the sound system at Fire Station 1.
