Girl Scout Brownies in Troop 11142 recently conducted a sweet community service project at the Heartland Cancer Center in Great Bend. They made and delivered 50 chemo kits filled with journals of inspirational pictures and quotes, along with pens, toothbrushes, hand sanitizer, lotion, candy and mints. They also made special kits with toys for children.
They took a tour, talked to patients, and set up a table with the extra kits with a sign saying, “2015 Brownie Girl Scout Service Project - Troop #11142.”
 The girls had a wonderful experience giving back to the community, troop leader Dana Morse said.
