Several Great Bend residents in a one-block area awoke last Friday to find someone had entered their property overnight.
The Great Bend Police Department is investigating reports that tools were stolen from a vehicle at 1709 Washington and power tools were stolen from a garage at 1717 Washington. A burglary was also reported at 1722 Adams St. and, later in the day, a burglary was reported at 1703 Adams St.
Lt. Scott Bieberle at the Great Bend Police Department said it appears that the vehicle and residences were unlocked.
