Ashley Hernandez from the Great Bend Public Library’s Circulation Department reads “The Cat in the Hat” to children, Tuesday morning. March 1 is the birthday of Theodor Seuss Geisel, the American writer known as Dr. Seuss. His book, “The Cat in the Hat,” was published in 1957. The library will also celebrate Dr. Seuss on Friday.
