ELLINWOOD — The Ellinwood School/Community Library youth enjoyed a presentation, by Pam Martin from the Kansas Wetlands Education Center.  Her program, “Celestial Creatures” featured animals in the stars! Spiders, scorpions, turtles, and snakes were the highlights of the morning.

On Wednesday, July 3, youth from 3 years-old to first grade are invited to the library for PBS’s Share-a-Story! Share A Story is part of Smoky Hills Public Television’s mission to encourage children to read. SHPTV will share information about PBS Kids programs, read a story, teach the children a craft project and send each one home with a book for them to enjoy with their families.

Friday, July 12, will be our end of Summer Library Celebration!  We are planning a moon walk, space activities, and snacks.

Be reading for more information!
