Students from Mandy Stansfield’s fifth-grade class at Riley Elementary School serenaded the staff and shoppers at Yours Truly Gifts & Floral Shoppe on Friday afternoon. Yours Truly repaid the festive gesture with hot chocolate for the whole class. Riley students, pre-k through 6th grade, took to the streets to share carols with the community, visiting residents and businesses within walking distance of the school. Principal Beth Rein said the idea “snowballed” and became a school-wide outreach effort. They hope to make this an annual event!
