A resolution that sets the salary ranges for City of Great Bend employees is on the agenda for the next Great Bend City Council meeting, set for 6:30 p.m. Monday, Oct. 3, at City Hall. The meeting will also be live streamed for public viewing on Facebook at https://www.facebook.com/gbcitycouncil/. The salary ranges in the resolution were previously approved as part of the 2023 budget.

The council will also be asked to allow Housing Opportunities Inc.’s proposed Cambridge Park development to connect to the city’s sanitary sewer and potable water system for a small housing development outside the city limits.

Other items on the agenda are approval of the Quality-of-Life Capital Improvement Plan, a plan to reimburse residential and commercial property owners for part of the costs of public sidewalk repairs, a bid for citywide stormwater assessment and mapping, and the lease-purchase of a street sweeper.
