City Council to meet Monday night, County Commission to meet Tuesday morning

The Great Bend City Council will meet Monday night and the Barton County Commission will meet Tuesday morning.

The Great Bend City Council will meet at 7:30 p.m. Monday at the City Office, 1209 Williams. The agenda includes the appointment of a new city clerk/finance director, an update on the transload facility and bids for concrete replacement at Great Bend Municipal Airport and Expo Complex.

The Barton County Commission will meet at 9 a.m. Tuesday at the Barton County Courthouse, 1400 Main in Great Bend. he agenda includes the introduction of Nana Brammer, the new assistant county attorney, consider proposals from applicants for the county counselor position, and the appointment of Marissa Woodmansee as Juvenile Services director.
