City of Great Bend Street Department crews will begin work on Frey Street between 12th and Lakin streets starting Tuesday, Assistant Public Works Director Jason Cauley said Friday. The street will be closed for one city block and traffic will be detoured around the construction site. 

“Please be careful and attentive when driving in this area,” he said. “We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and would like to thank you for patience.”
