The City of Great Bend water consumer confidence report covering calendar year 2017 is now available, said Utilities Superintendent, Michael Bader. However, the brochure will not be mailed to residents. Instead, the City of Great Bend Public Works Department will provide a copy of the 2016 Water Consumer Confidence Report on the main page of the city’s website at www.greatbendks.net.
“This brochure is a snapshot of the quality of water that we provided last year,” he said. “Included are the details about where your water comes from, what it contains, and how it compares to Environmental Protection Agency and state standards.”
The bottom line, he said, “is that the water that is provided to you is safe.”
