Central Kansas Christian Academy recently upgraded its security system with 32 high-definition security cameras throughout the facility, replacing the previous camera system.

“As many know, security in schools is so important and this system gives us a much better view of what is going on in all parts of our facility,” said CKCA Principal Dottie Dozier. “In addition to improving security, this system also provides some efficiencies for our office staff and provides accountability for students. We are so grateful for this upgrade for our students and staff.”

Hammeke Electric installed the new equipment.

Central Kansas Christian Academy is a nondenominational community Christian school for students in kindergarten through eighth grade, with a positive environment that combines Christian character training with an academic curriculum. The core classroom studies are supplemented with a variety of enrichment courses, such as physical education, music, band, art, library and computer applications. Students also have opportunities to participate in extracurricular activities and athletics, such as basketball, cheer-leading, and Student Council. This spring, CKCA will complete a multi-year accreditation process through the Association of Christian Schools International (ACSI).

Anyone interested in learning more about CKCA can visit the website at www.ckcacademy.com or call the school office, 620-792-3477, weekdays when school is in session. The school will also host an open house event that is open to the public from 5-7 p.m. on Thursday, March 30. Central Kansas Christian Academy is also on Facebook.
