Commission, council to meet Monday

 Both the Barton County Commission and the Great Bend City Council meet Monday.

The Barton County Commission will meet at 9 a.m. Monday at the Barton County Courthouse, 1400 Main in Great Bend. The agenda includes recognition of Cartographer Bj Wooding as Employee of the Quarter, the Kansas Department of Transportation Local Road Safety Plan and the Kansas Association of Counties meeting report.

The Great Bend City Council will meet at 7:30 p.m. Monday at the City Office, 1209 Williams. The agenda includes an update on the unsafe properties in the 2100 block of 16th Street, awards to 25-year city employees and events center improvements.
