Both the Barton County Commission and the Great Bend City Council meet Monday.

The Barton County Commission will meet at 9 a.m. Monday at the Barton County Courthouse, 1400 Main in Great Bend. The agenda includes a discussion of problems at Larned State Hospital, a rezoning request and a township board appointment.

The Great Bend City Council will meet at 7:30 p.m. Monday at the City Office, 1209 Williams.

The agenda includes a public hearing on an unsafe building at 623 Baker, Public Works Director Don craig’s retirement, the Amber Meadows replat and a water improvements bond issue.
