Commission, council to meet Monday

 Both the Barton County Commission and the Great Bend City Council meet Monday.

The Barton County Commission will meet at 9 a.m. Monday at the Barton County Courthouse, 1400 Main in Great Bend. The agenda includes recognizing County Engineer Barry McManaman for passing the national exam to become a Certified Floodplain Manager and a report on the county tax sale which took place last Tuesday.

The Great Bend City Council will meet at 7:30 p.m. Monday at the City Office, 1209 Williams. The agenda includes the snow and ice removal policy, the final ordinances on Sunday alcohol sales and a request to allow micro utility trucks on city streets.
