The Barton County Commission will meet at 9 a.m. Tuesday, instead of Monday due to Labor Day, at the Barton County Courthouse, 1400 Main in Great Bend. The agenda includes a recognition of Linda Francis in the County Engineer’s Office, a veterans’ parade during the City of Great Bend’s Airfest Sept. 19 and a related proclamation, and an appointment to the SouthWest Kansas Area Agency on Aging Sub-Regional Council.
