The Barton County Commission will meet Monday morning and the Great Bend City Council will meet Monday evening.

The Barton County Commission will meet at 9 a.m. Monday at the Barton County Courthouse, 1400 Main in Great Bend. The agenda includes the replacement of the camera and intercom system outside the Communications Office door, and appointments to the Barton County Planning Commission, Central Kansas Library System Board and Memorial Parks Advisory Committee.

The Great Bend City Council will meet at 7:30 p.m. Monday at the City Office, 1209 Williams first to hold the 2018 budget hearing. Then, the regular meeting will be held at the Great Bend Events Center, 3111 Kansas. The agenda includes the appointment of an interim city administrator, the 2018 budget ordinance and the HVAC system at the Crest Theater.
