The Barton County Commission will meet Monday morning and the Great Bend City Council will meet Monday evening.

The Barton County Commission will meet at 9 a.m. Monday at the Barton County Courthouse, 1400 Main in Great Bend. The agenda includes continuation of the agreement for Physical Capacity Profile testing and a resolution prescribing Barton County’s policies dealing with financial institutions.

The Great Bend City Council will meet at 7:30 p.m. Monday at the City Office, 1209 Williams. The agenda includes the appointment of a new Ward 2 council member, the appointment of a new fire chief, the appointment of an interim city administrator, a 15 percent water rate increase and an engineering agreement for the Crest Theater.
