AmeriCorps members through Catholic Social Services are sponsoring a course to help people in need learn how to be smart with their money and credit score. The Class will be offered free of charge from 1-3 p.m. Tuesday, May 17, at Catholic Social Services, 2201 16th St. in Great Bend.
The MoneySmart program was developed by the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation and covers payday loans, banking services, credit and rebuilding credit scores, consumer rights, credit card usage and renting to own.
