The Barton County Commission will meet Monday morning and the Great Bend City Council will meet Monday evening.

The Barton County Commission will meet at 9 a.m. Monday at the Barton County Courthouse, 1400 Main in Great Bend. The agenda includes the presentation of a dividend check from Alliance Insurance Group, the Region E Multi-Jurisdictional Hazard Mitigation Plan and public survey, and the return of unspent funds for chronic disease risk reduction and  child care licensing.

The Great Bend City Council will meet at 6:30 p.m. Monday at the City Office, 1209 Williams. The agenda includes a report on the falconers convention coming to Great Bend this fall, St. Rose Health Center waterline replacement, waterline repairs in the Meadowlark Street area, and the rezoning of property at 2115 18th from commercial to residential.
