Duck hunters invited to breakfast, raffle at KWEC

Duck hunting season begins on Saturday, Oct. 5 for the Cheyenne Bottoms area.  Duck hunters are invited to stop by the Kansas Wetlands Education Center from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. for free doughnuts, coffee, and juice.  The free breakfast is being sponsored by Great Bend Regional Hospital.  
Additionally, the Cheyenne Bottoms Ducks Unlimited Chapter will be holding a raffle and silent auction for outdoor-related merchandise, including waterfowl prints, a Terry Redlin canvas, waterfowl decoys, and chances for a DU gun of the year.  For questions about the breakfast, call the KWEC at 877-243-9268.
