Sunflower Diversified will celebrate the Earth Day April 15-20 by partnering with Barton County Solid Waste Department and collecting Electronic Waste and Bicycles for recycling at its 5523 10th St. location.
The community is invited to bring computers, laptops, monitors, keyboards, printers, fax machines, stereos, speakers, televisions, microwaves, bikes, trikes, and scooters. There is no charge for recycling these items and Sunflower invites the public to utilize this collection to dispose of items appropriately by recycling.
Used bikes will be reconditioned thru Barton County Landfill’s arrangement with Ellsworth Correctional Facility that returns refurbished bikes to children in the local area.
Sunflower Recycling will remain open for normal collection services during this period.
