BCSO offers Carry Conceal class
Class required as part of Carry Concealed Handgun License

The Barton County Sheriff's Office is offering the Handgun Safety Training Course required as the first part of the Carry Concealed Handgun License application. Although anyone 21 years or older can take this 8 hour basic firearms safety class, not everyone is eligible to obtain a CCH license, nor are participants required to be apply for a license in order to take the class. Current CCH license holders are also welcome.

Kansas Law Enforcement Officers with various backgrounds and years of experience will instruct this class taking place from 8:00 am - 5:00 pm on June 23, 2018 at the Barton County Sheriff's Office Range and Training Facility.

Participants are required to bring their own reliable working handgun along with a minimum of 50 rounds of ammunition, eye and ear protection. 

Limited space is available and early registration is encouraged.
