Wichita — Credit Union of America (CUA) has awarded eight students with scholarship funds from Credit Union of America’s John Michener Scholarship program for the 2017-2018 school year.
Local recipient is Ashtin Heath of Great Bend High School – Wichita State University ($1,000).
Students were chosen by a scholarship committee made up of staff and volunteers. Recipients were chosen based on their grade point average, community/school activities and an essay on the benefit of becoming a financially literate individual. All scholarship recipients were recognized at an awards banquet held in their honor on May 16th. For more details on the John Michener Scholarship
