The Ellinwood Hospital Auxiliary is accepting applications for its scholarship program, with the deadline of April 1. The Auxiliary awards 1-2 scholarships each spring, depending on funds available and number and quality of applications received.

Eligibility requirements include:
• Applicant must be a Kansas resident committed to pursuing their healthcare career in Kansas.
• Applicant must be a part-time or full-time student in a healthcare course of study leading to a certificate, degree or credential not currently held at a Kansas educational institution, including technical, two-or four-year institution. An exception may be given for an accredited online or out-of-state program if the reason for choosing such an institution is explained in the answer to the goals question.
• Applicant must be attending a healthcare program that is accredited by their respective governing body.
• Priority will be given to individuals currently residing and/or working in Ellinwood, Kansas.
The Ellinwood Hospital Auxiliary assists the Hospital in promoting the health and welfare of the surrounding community. Auxiliary members volunteer at the Hospital and fundraise for special projects at the Hospital. The Auxiliary also funds healthcare scholarships to qualified students.
