Logan Buehler

The Golden Belt Community Foundation recently awarded a scholarship from the Ryan Hugh Dunlap Memorial Scholarship Fund. Ryan’s family created a scholarship fund for students wishing to enter the fields of education and/or sports medicine. As a graduate of Great Bend High School, Barton Community College, and Southwestern College, Ryan was tirelessly dedicated to his students and athletes. His lifework was as an athletic trainer and physical education teacher. He took pride in the camaraderie of team sports and watching his student’s succeed. With this scholarship, future students will be able to further their education in a similar field.
The 2011 Ryan Hugh Dunlap Memorial Scholarship recipient is Logan Buehler.
Logan Buehler is a 2011 graduate of Great Bend High School. In high school, Logan has been involved in football and baseball as well as the Freshman Mentoring Program and Choir. Logan plans to attend Barton Community College while majoring in Physical Therapy with a focus on sports injuries.
Anyone wishing to honor Ryan by contributing to the Ryan Hugh Dunlap Scholarship Fund to provide future scholarships to local students may do so by contacting the Golden Belt Community Foundation.
At $7 million in total assets and over 120 funds under management, the Golden Belt Community Foundation has been helping donors fulfill their charitable wishes since 1996.
