Huelskamp announces military service academy nominations

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Every Member of Congress has the opportunity to nominate outstanding young men and women to attend the nation’s military service academies. Following in-person interviews with candidates and evaluation by a board of Kansans, Congressman Tim Huelskamp (KS-01) announced that he would recommend the following individuals:
• Kynedi Allison from Delphos attends Minneapolis High School; she is the daughter of James and Judi Allison. She has been nominated to: U.S. Naval Academy, U.S. Merchant Marine Academy, U.S. Military Academy and U.S. Naval Academy
• Nicholas Clark from Manhattan attends Manhattan High School; he is the son of Barry and Dina Clark. Nicholas has been nominated to: U.S. Air Force Academy
• Dexter English from Syracuse attends Syracuse High School; he is the son of Wade and Marleen English. He has been nominated to: U.S. Air Force Academy, U.S. Military Academy and U.S. Naval Academy
• Stephanie Farney from McPherson attends McPherson High School; she is the daughter of Steven and Mary Farney. She has been nominated to: U.S. Air Force Academy
• Seth Hachmeister from Natoma attends Natoma High School; he is the son of Kenneth and Sheila Hachmeister. He has been nominated to: U.S. Naval Academy
• Ronald Jackson from Beloit attends Beloit High School; he is the son of Mark and Vicki Jackson. He has been nominated to: U.S. Air Force Academy
• John Kelly from Minneapolis attends Minneapolis High School; is the son of James and Ann Kelly. He has been nominated to: U.S. Naval Academy
• Shawn Lay from Liberal attends Kansas State University; he is the son of Calvin and Toni Lay. Shawn has been nominated to: U.S. Naval Academy
• Daniel Yapp from Hutchinson attends Hutchinson Senior High; he is the son of Mark and Patricia Yapp. He has been nominated to: U.S. Naval Academy
