Manhattan Area Technical College commencement

Manhattan Area Technical College held its spring commencement exercises on Dec. 14, at the Hilton Garden Inn in Manhattan. Bruce Snead, Director of Engineering Energy Extension at K-State and former mayor of Manhattan, delivered the commencement address to 80 graduates in 10 programs of study. MATC awarded 56 associate of applied science degrees and 24 graduates received technical certificates.
Local graduates include Great Bend: Tyler Nairn, Electric Power and Distribution, and Kyle Stegman, Electric Power and Distribution; and Wilson: Kenneth Steinle, Electric Power and Distribution.
