Pirates of the Caribbean was the theme for the Great Bend High School combined Marching Bands field show. They participated at the Winfield “Mound of Sound” Marching Festival, and the Western Athletic Conference Marching Festival. They received overall “II” ratings at both events. “I” ratings were awarded for Color Guard, Drum Line, Visual Effect and Musicianship. Directors are Mark DeWald and Don Regehr; Color Guard instructor is Donna Becker, and Drum Line instructor is Alan Baxter.
