ELLINWOOD  — The Ellinwood City Council will meet at 7 p.m. Tuesday, July 14 at the City Offices, 104 E. 2nd.  The agenda includes presentation of service awards to Spencer Proffitt for 20 years with the Fire Department and Chris Komarek for 40 years of service, currently in Administration, approval of dates for budget work study sessions, discussion and possible action concerning the sale of bricks to the public, consideration of applications from Cari Ringwald and Mark Cook for open position on Recreation Commission Board and discussion of possible improvements that may qualify for CARES Act funding, discussion and possible action concerning increases to spending authority for the city administrator and department heads. An executive session for the purpose of discussing flood control property acquisition is anticipated.
