Members of Epsilon Sigma Alpha in Great Bend have issued the “Choctober Challenge” by creating a fundraising event for chocolate lovers. It will be held from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 19, at the Best Western Angus Inn Courtyard.
Tickets are $10, and can be purchased from any ESA member, including Kim Kummer, 620-792-5415. Tickets may also be purchased at the door, but only a limited number of tickets will be available.
Participants will sample decadent recipes from volunteer chocolatiers Shellie Thill, Monica Bowers, June Hillman, Kim Randall, Kat King, Linda Pearson and Lori Reneau.
ESA is a service and leadership organization. Proceeds will be donated to Almost Home, Heartspring and the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
